Product details

The SS9301_1 frame turnbuckle has an open frame body with a jaw at each end and is made of stainless steel 316. Seven sizes are listed. The size 5 turnbuckle uses an M5 thread with L3 80 mm, L2 130 mm and L1 190 mm. The size 8, with an M8 thread, measures L3 105 mm, L2 165 mm and L1 240 mm, and the size 16, with an M16 thread, measures L3 200 mm, L2 310 mm and L1 450 mm. Dimensions D and A for each size are given in the specification table.

Turnbuckles let an installer take up slack and set the tension in a wire rope after it has been anchored, which is needed in lifelines, guard cables, balustrades, rigging and marine standing rigging. Jaw ends connect directly to eye plates, tabs or other fittings with a pin.

Buyers should check the adjustment range needed, the jaw opening and pin size against the mating fittings, and how the turnbuckle will be locked after tensioning. The SS9301_1 can be produced as OEM or private label, or to a drawing.
