Product details

Eleven sizes make up the SS9201_1 wire rope clip range, all in stainless steel 316. The smallest, for 2 mm rope, uses an M3 thread with dimension A of 10 mm and H1 of 18 mm. The 8 mm clip, the size that matches the 8 mm cable used throughout this lifeline range, has an M8 thread, A 20 mm and H1 40 mm. At the top, the 19 mm clip has an M14 thread, A 50 mm and H1 80 mm. Full D, A, H1, F, I, B and H2 dimensions for every size are given in the specification table.

Wire rope clips are used to form eyes around thimbles, terminate cables at anchors and make up adjustable assemblies in lifelines, balustrades, rigging and marine fittings. Grade 316 stainless steel is the usual choice where salt or chemical exposure is expected.

Correct performance depends on the number of clips, their orientation and the tightening torque, which should follow the system designer's or installer's instructions. The SS9201_1 can be supplied as OEM or private label, or modified to a drawing.
