SS795 Stainless Steel 304 Rope Guide for Vertical Lifelines

Along a vertical lifeline, the SS795 rope guide keeps the wire rope in line with the ladder or climbing route between the top and bottom anchors. It is made of stainless steel 304, weighs 200 g and forms part of the vertical lifeline system for via ferrata use.

Rope guides limit lateral movement and wind-induced slapping of the cable, and help the fall arrester run cleanly along the line. Vertical lifelines of this type are used on fixed ladders on towers, silos, tanks, telecom masts and buildings, and on via ferrata routes.

Guide spacing and compatibility with the fall arrester are part of the system design and should be defined by a competent person; the complete installation needs to meet the standard that applies in the market. The SS795 can be supplied under OEM or private label, or modified to fit a specific ladder profile.
