Product details

The SS625 cable grab is made from stainless steel with a self-colored standard finish and is offered for either Ø 8 mm or Ø 10 mm wire rope. It is listed as meeting EN 353-2, the European standard for guided type fall arresters on a flexible anchor line. It is the base model of a family that also includes the SS625-AP with an anti-panic system and the SS625-AP-EC with double anti-panic.

A cable grab runs up and down the anchor line with the climber and is connected to the front attachment point of the harness. In a fall, it locks onto the wire and arrests the descent. Typical uses are fixed ladders on towers, wind turbines, telecom masts, silos, tanks and buildings, as well as vertical sections of via ferrata routes.

Buyers should specify the wire diameter, confirm compatibility with the anchor line and any shock absorber used, and request the certification documents for their market. The SS625 can be supplied as OEM or private label.
