Made in stainless steel 316, the SS4820_1 jaw and jaw turnbuckle is listed in seven sizes with their adjustment ranges. The size 5 turnbuckle (M5 thread) adjusts between Lmin 130 mm and Lmax 190 mm. The size 8 (M8) runs from 165 mm to 240 mm, the size 12 (M12) from 245 mm to 360 mm, and the size 16 (M16) from 310 mm to 450 mm. Pin diameter d2 and jaw dimension m for every size are listed in the specification table.
A turnbuckle with jaws at both ends connects by pins to eye plates, tabs, shackles or terminal fittings, and its threaded body is turned to tension the cable. It is used on horizontal and vertical lifelines, guard and balustrade cables, rigging and marine applications, and grade 316 suits salt and chemical exposure.
Buyers should confirm the adjustment range they need, the pin size and jaw width against the mating hardware, and the locking method after tensioning. The SS4820_1 can be supplied as OEM or private label, or modified to a customer drawing.
