SS3062 316 Stainless Steel Lifting Eye Nut, Metric Thread

SS3062 is a lifting eye nut made from AISI 316 stainless steel with a metric thread. Six sizes are listed: M6, M8, M10, M12, M16 and M19. B runs from 30 to 84 mm, C from 16 to 40 mm, D from 12.7 to 33.3 mm and E from 5.7 to 15 mm.

Although this part is a lifting eye nut, no working load limit is published for any size. Before it is used for lifting, the rated load for the specific size and grade must be confirmed in writing, the stud must give full thread engagement, and the nut must seat squarely with the load in the plane of the eye. Away from lifting, eye nuts are a convenient way to add a removable attachment point to studs on machinery, enclosures, marine fittings and tensioned architectural details.
