SS301 316 Stainless Steel Lost-Wax Cast C Ring

SS301 C rings are lost-wax cast in AISI 316 stainless steel. Eight sizes are listed by D: 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 16 mm. Each size has A (8 to 24 mm), B (18 to 59 mm), L (20 to 64 mm) and L1 (30 to 96 mm), a net weight from 0.010 kg to 0.364 kg per piece, and a listed breaking load: 200 kg (5 mm), 300 kg (6 mm), 400 kg (8 mm), 600 kg (9 mm), 900 kg (10 mm), 1000 kg (11 mm), 1600 kg (13 mm) and 3200 kg (16 mm).

C rings are used to join chain, attach chain to fittings and build up assemblies in marine, architectural and general rigging hardware, where 316 stainless steel gives the corrosion resistance needed outdoors. The breaking loads are failure values; working loads must be set lower with a safety factor appropriate to the use, and the ring should not be treated as lifting or fall-protection equipment unless a rated version is agreed.
