SS306 316 Stainless Steel Lifting Eye Bolt, Metric Thread

The SS306 lifting eye bolt is made in AISI 316 stainless steel with a metric thread, in six sizes: M6, M8, M10, M12, M16 and M19. B runs from 27.7 to 71 mm, C from 16 to 40 mm, D from 12.5 to 34 mm and E from 13.8 to 29.4 mm. The C dimension matches the SS3062 eye nut at every size.

Eye bolts of this kind are screwed fully home into a tapped hole in machinery, housings, frames or marine equipment to give a fixed eye. Although it is a lifting eye bolt, no working load limit is published for any size, so the rated load must be confirmed in writing before lifting use. The bolt must be seated firmly against the surface, and loads should act in the plane of the eye, since angled loading reduces capacity. For non-lifting duties, it provides a durable stainless attachment point for lines, shackles and hooks.
