AP-081 Aluminium Alloy Pulley for 16 mm Rope

AP-081 combines aluminium alloy side plates with a 28 kN breaking strength and a 16 mm rope capacity. It is the single-sheave counterpart to the AP-082 double pulley in rope size, and its rating sits between the 25 kN and 30 kN models in the range. The second image gives the dimension drawing.

Many pulleys are sized for 11 to 13 mm rope; a 16 mm capacity opens AP-081 to thicker static lines, arborist rigging ropes and applications where rope is used with heavier-duty systems. Typical uses include redirects at anchor points, haul systems and tensioning lines. Remember that the attachment point can see close to twice the line tension when rope turns 180 degrees, so the 28 kN rating should be compared against full system load.

Buyers should confirm the rope types and diameters to be used, sheave bearing type and colour, and whether a standard such as EN 12278 is required. Power Honour can supply AP-081 as an OEM or private-label item, or modify the design to a drawing.
