Product details

AP-043 is listed without a ball bearing, which keeps the design simple and the weight to 91 g. The aluminium alloy side plates have an anodised colour finish, the breaking strength is 24 kN and the maximum rope diameter is 13 mm. The photographs show swinging side plates that open so the pulley can be placed on a rope without untying it, and the last image is a dimension drawing.

A plain-bushing pulley turns with more friction than a ball-bearing model, but it is lighter and has fewer parts, which suits self-rescue kits, redirects and occasional hauling where efficiency matters less than weight. Opening side plates make it quick to install mid-rope. When rope turns 180 degrees, the attachment point can see nearly twice the line tension, which should stay within the 24 kN rating.

Buyers should specify anodised colour, rope types, marking and any required standard, such as EN 12278 for mountaineering pulleys. Power Honour can produce AP-043 as private-label equipment or rework the design from a customer drawing.
