AP-082 Aluminium Alloy Double Pulley for 16 mm Rope

The AP-082 double pulley has aluminium alloy side plates carrying two sheaves, a 24 kN breaking strength and a rope capacity of 16 mm, larger than the 13 mm common elsewhere in this range. The second image is a dimension drawing.

Double pulleys let a rigger build 4:1 and higher mechanical-advantage systems with fewer components, keeping the set-up compact and reducing the number of connectors. The 16 mm rope size makes AP-082 suitable for thicker static ropes and arborist rigging lines as well as standard rescue ropes. When pulleys work in a block-and-tackle arrangement, the load on the top attachment includes every rope leg in the system, so the 24 kN rating must be checked against total system load.

Buyers should confirm the rope types and diameters, sheave bearing type and whether a becket or extra attachment point is required. In Europe, mountaineering pulleys are covered by EN 12278. Power Honour can supply AP-082 as private-label equipment or modify plates and sheaves to a customer drawing.
