AP-080 Aluminium Alloy Pulley, 25 kN

AP-080 is a general-purpose aluminium alloy pulley with a 25 kN breaking strength and a maximum rope size of 13 mm. The photograph shows a large sheave set between side plates, and the second image is a dimension drawing for checking sheave and attachment-hole sizes.

A pulley of this class sits at the heart of many rope systems: redirecting a line around an edge, forming the travelling pulley in a 3:1 haul, or tensioning a tyrolean or guiding line. When rope passes through 180 degrees, the load at the attachment point approaches double the line tension, which should be considered against the 25 kN rating. In Europe, mountaineering pulleys are covered by EN 12278.

Buyers should confirm the rope diameter range, sheave bearing type and side-plate geometry against their application, and specify colour, marking and packaging. Power Honour can manufacture AP-080 as private-label equipment or modify the design to a customer drawing.
