Seven sizes give the 7700A eye sling hook one of the widest ranges among the latch hooks in this catalogue. From 6-8, rated at 1.25 ton and weighing 0.244 kg, the table steps through 7/8-8 (2.00 ton), 10-8 (3.20 ton), 13-8 (5.40 ton), 16-8 (8.00 ton) and 20-8 (12.50 ton) to 22-8, which carries 15.00 ton and weighs 8.200 kg. Minimum breaking load is four times the working load limit.
The eye end accepts a connecting link, master link or thimble, so the hook can be used on chain slings and on wire rope or other sling types. The latch closes the throat to help retain a slack sling. Typical applications include construction lifting, plant installation, logistics and general rigging. The 7700A is lifting hardware, not fall protection equipment.
Buyers should state the chain or rope size, the connector that will join the eye and any requirement for marking or proof-test documentation. The hook can be produced as OEM or private label, or adapted to a drawing.
