Five sizes are listed for the 7400A clevis safety sling hook: 6/7-8 at 1.6 ton and 0.53 kg, 7-8 at 1.6 ton and 0.67 kg, 8-8 at 2.0 ton and 0.83 kg, 10-8 at 3.2 ton and 1.36 kg, and 13-8 at 5.4 ton and 3.15 kg. All carry a minimum breaking load of four times the working load limit.
The clevis and pin connect the hook to the end link of a Grade 80 chain without a separate connecting link, and the latch closes the hook opening to help keep a slack sling or lifting eye in place. This makes the 7400A a practical lower fitting for chain slings in construction, plant maintenance and workshop lifting. It is lifting hardware and should not be used as fall protection equipment.
Two entries share the 1.6 ton rating with different weights, so buyers should confirm which variant suits their chain. In an RFQ, give chain diameter and grade, latch preference and marking requirements. Power Honour can supply the 7400A as OEM or private label.
