The C-shaped body of the 7300A gives an open hook profile on a clevis connection that pins directly to Grade 80 chain. Its sizes are 7/8-8, rated at 2.0 ton with a net weight of 0.57 kg; 10-8 at 3.2 ton and 1.40 kg; 13-8 at 5.4 ton and 3.00 kg; and 16-8 at 8.2 ton and 5.40 kg. Minimum breaking load is four times the working load limit.
C hooks are used where the load connection calls for an open, easily engaged hook, for example on lifting points, rings and bars in material handling, construction and industrial rigging. The exact throat geometry and any latch arrangement should be checked on the drawing for the intended attachment. This is lifting hardware, not fall-arrest equipment.
Buyers should confirm the chain size and grade, the type of lifting point the hook will engage, and marking or traceability requirements. The 7300A can be produced as OEM or private-label hardware, or adapted to a customer drawing.
