Product details

The 7500A is sized by working load limit rather than chain size, with five versions rated at 2, 3, 5, 8 and 10 ton. Their published net weights run from 0.83 lb for the 2 ton hook to 5.17 lb for the 10 ton hook. Minimum breaking load is four times the WLL.

Weld-on hooks turn equipment into a lifting point: they are fitted to excavator and loader buckets, quick-couplers, attachments, steel frames and vehicles so that slings or chains can be hooked on directly. Because the hook becomes part of a welded structure, the welding procedure, filler material, preheat and inspection must follow the manufacturer's instructions and be carried out by qualified personnel. The 7500A is lifting hardware and is not designed for personal fall protection.

Buyers should specify the WLL, the base material it will be welded to and whether a latch is required. The hook can be supplied under OEM or private label, or modified to a customer drawing.
