Product details
The 7900A combines a sling hook with a link so that it can be attached to a chain leg as a ready-made bottom fitting. Five sizes are listed. The 7/8-8 hook is rated at 2.0 ton and weighs 0.48 kg; the 10-8 at 3.2 ton and 0.86 kg; the 13-8 at 5.4 ton and 1.82 kg; the 16-8 at 8.2 ton and 3.18 kg; and the 18/20-8, for 18 or 20 mm chain, at 12.5 ton and 5.00 kg. Minimum breaking load is four times the working load limit.
Sling hooks are the standard lower termination on chain slings used for overhead lifting in construction, precast concrete, steel handling and plant maintenance. The 7900A is lifting hardware and is not designed for personal fall protection.
When specifying, give the chain size and grade, confirm whether a safety latch is required for the market and application, and state any marking or traceability needs. Power Honour can produce the 7900A as OEM or private label, or adapt it to a customer drawing.
