Product details
A clevis connection lets the 7800A sling hook be pinned straight onto the last link of a chain leg, and its latch closes the throat against accidental release of a slack sling or lifting point. The published sizes are 6-8 (1.25 ton, 0.30 kg), 7/8-8 (2.00 ton, 0.50 kg), 10-8 (3.20 ton, 0.90 kg), 16-8 (8.00 ton, 3.50 kg) and 20-8 (12.5 ton, 6.19 kg). Minimum breaking load is four times the working load limit.
This style of hook is the most common bottom fitting on Grade 80 chain slings for construction, manufacturing, logistics and maintenance lifting. It is lifting hardware and should not be used as a fall-arrest connector.
Buyers who need a 13-8 size should ask. In an RFQ, give the chain diameter and grade, latch type preference and any marking or certificate requirements. The 7800A can be supplied as OEM or private-label hardware, or to a modified drawing.
