Product details
Inch sizes and pound ratings place the 7600A in the North American style of Grade 80 hardware. The smallest size, 9/32 (1/4) in, has a working load limit of 3500 lb and weighs 0.60 lb. The 3/8 in hook is rated at 7100 lb, the 1/2 in at 12000 lb and the 3/4 in at 28300 lb, with the 7/8 in hook at 34200 lb and 11.90 lb. Minimum breaking load is four times the WLL.
Grab hooks are used to shorten chain, adjust leg length, secure loads and make up chain assemblies for towing, logging and general rigging. The eye end takes a connecting link, so the hook can be fitted to chain or to other components. The 7600A is rigging hardware and is not intended for personal fall protection.
When ordering, match the hook to the chain trade size and grade and check the throat fit on the actual chain. The 7600A can be manufactured as OEM or private-label hardware, with markings agreed with the buyer.
