6600A Grade 80 Clevis Self-Locking Safety Hook, New Design
The 6600A (Art. No. 6600A) is a newer-design Grade 80 clevis self-locking safety hook for chain lifting slings. It is specified with a minimum breaking load of four times the working load limit; sizes and ratings are available on request.

Product details
The 6600A is catalogued as a new version of the Grade 80 clevis self-locking safety hook. It is specified with a minimum breaking load of four times the working load limit; sizes, ratings and weights should be requested with the current drawing. Tabulated clevis self-locking hooks in the same range are the 6500A in metric sizes and the 6700A in inch sizes.
As with other self-locking hooks, the latch closes and locks automatically and stays locked until the operator presses the release trigger. The clevis pins directly to the end link of Grade 80 chain, which keeps the sling short and avoids a separate connecting link. These hooks suit chain slings for construction, precast concrete, steel handling and plant maintenance. The 6600A is lifting hardware and should not be used as fall-arrest equipment.
In an RFQ, state the chain diameter and grade, the WLL required and any marking or documentation needed. Power Honour can supply the 6600A as OEM or private-label hardware, or to a customer drawing.
