A12120KTL-3 Aluminium Key-Lock Triple-Lock Carabiner

A12120KTL-3 is a climbing carabiner in aluminium alloy with a 25 kN breaking strength, a 24 mm gate opening and a 121.5 x 76 mm frame weighing 95 g.

The triple-lock gate needs three movements to open, which gives more protection against accidental opening than a screw gate that may be left undone or a two-stage twist-lock. Combined with the large frame, that makes the model suitable for belay and lowering set-ups, rescue systems and master points at anchors, where several items share one connector and the gate may be pressed against rock or structure. The key-lock nose clips and unclips without catching on webbing.

Screw-gate (A12120KSG) and twist-lock (A12120KTL) versions use the same dimensions.
