A12120KTL Aluminium Key-Lock Twist-Lock Carabiner

A12120KTL combines the 121.5 x 76 mm aluminium alloy frame of the A12120 series with a twist-lock gate. Breaking strength is listed at 25 kN, the gate opens to 24 mm and the weight is 95 g.

A twist-lock gate relocks automatically under spring pressure when released, so it is quick to operate with one hand and cannot be left unlocked by mistake. The large, pear-shaped frame shown in the product photo gives a rope room to run, which is useful for belaying, hitch-based lowering and anchor points that collect several connectors. The key-lock nose prevents snagging on slings and harness loops.
