A12120KSG is the screw-gate model in the A12120 family, one of the larger frames in the A121 series at 121.5 mm long and 76 mm wide. The aluminium alloy body is rated at 25 kN, the gate opens to 22 mm and the connector weighs 90 g.
The product photo shows a pear-shaped profile, a form that is usually chosen when a rope must run around the wide end of the carabiner, for example with a munter hitch or when several items are clipped together at an anchor. The manual screw sleeve lets the user decide when the gate is locked, and the key-lock nose keeps the gate from catching.
Twist-lock (A12120KTL) and triple-lock (A12120KTL-3) versions share the same dimensions. Before ordering, confirm the certification the finished connector must carry, for example EN 12275 for mountaineering use or EN 362 for fall protection, and the marking and colour requirements. A12120KSG is available for OEM and private-label supply and can be modified to a customer drawing.
