A12117KTL uses the 117 x 75 mm aluminium alloy frame of the A12117 family with a spring-loaded twist-lock sleeve. Listed breaking strength is 25 kN, the gate opens to 24 mm, the widest opening of the three A12117 versions, and the connector weighs 85 g.
Because the sleeve rotates back and locks on release, the user cannot forget to secure the gate. That makes the model a good fit for work-positioning and rope-access systems, rescue rigging, arborist climbing kits and climbing applications with frequent clipping. The key-lock nose slides off harness loops and sling bundles cleanly.
Matching versions are A12117KSG with a manual screw gate and A12117KTL-3 with a triple-lock gate.
