A12116KTL-3 Aluminium Key-Lock Triple-Lock Carabiner

A12116KTL-3 is a climbing carabiner in aluminium alloy, with a 25 kN breaking strength, a 23 mm gate opening, a 116.8 x 72.3 mm frame and a weight of 85 g.

Its triple-lock gate needs three deliberate movements to open, one more than a standard twist-lock. That extra step makes inadvertent opening by rope drag, rolling against an edge or contact with a structure less likely, and it is often preferred for belay devices, rescue systems and connections that are not inspected continuously. The key-lock nose keeps the gate clear of webbing and gear loops.

The frame is identical in size to A12116KSG and A12116KTL, which allows a range to be built around one geometry with three locking options. Buyers should confirm the certification the final part must carry, any colour or anodising requirement and the marking layout.
