A12116KSG Aluminium Key-Lock Screw-Gate Carabiner

A12116KSG is built on a 116.8 mm long, 72.3 mm wide aluminium alloy frame with a breaking strength of 25 kN. The screw gate opens to 23 mm and the connector weighs 75 g, the lightest of the three A12116 variants.

Its wider body compared with the A12110 series leaves more space inside the basket for a rope plus slings or a device. The threaded sleeve locks only when the user turns it, so it suits stations and set-ups that are built and checked by hand, such as anchors, belays and fixed equipment attachment. The key-lock nose has a smooth profile that does not hook on webbing.

For automatic locking on the same dimensions, the range also includes A12116KTL (twist-lock) and A12116KTL-3 (triple-lock). A12116KSG can be supplied as an OEM or private-label connector, or modified to a customer drawing.
