A12110KSG Aluminium Key-Lock Screw-Gate Carabiner

A12110KSG pairs a key-lock nose with a threaded locking sleeve on a 115 mm long, 59.5 mm wide aluminium alloy frame. The listed breaking strength is 25 kN, the gate opens to 18 mm and the connector weighs 75 g, which makes it 10 g lighter than the twist-lock and triple-lock versions built on the same frame.

The notch-free key-lock nose reduces the chance of the gate snagging on slings, rope or harness loops during clipping. A screw gate gives the user direct control over locking, so it is a common choice for anchors, belay set-ups and equipment that stays clipped for long periods. Where the gate has to lock itself, specify A12110KTL (twist-lock) or A12110KTL-3 (triple-lock) instead.
