SS8041 304 Stainless Steel Round Ring with Plate

SS8041 combines a round ring with a round base plate, made from AISI 304 stainless steel with a bright polished finish and sink (countersunk) holes. Three sizes are listed by D: 5, 6 and 8 mm. L is 30, 40 and 50 mm, A1 33 to 50 mm, A2 19.5 to 29.5 mm and H 20 to 32 mm, with hole diameter d of 4.2 or 5.2 mm and listed weights of 37, 68 and 140 g.

The round base shares its A1, A2 and H figures with the SS8040 eye plate, and the ring adds a moving attachment that can take a line from different directions. Typical uses are lashing points on boat decks and in cockpits, tie-downs in vans and trailers, and ring fixings on walls, stables and outdoor furniture. The bright polish suits visible positions; for constant salt spray, a 316 part such as the SS320 ring plate may be preferred.

No load rating is listed, so the SS8041 is not a lifting or fall-arrest anchor. Power Honour can supply it under a private label or to a customer drawing; an oblong-plate version is listed as SS8031.
