SS8032 304 Stainless Steel Pad Eye, Opening Type
The SS8032 is an opening-type pad eye in bright polished AISI 304 stainless steel, with countersunk fixing holes, in four sizes from D 5 mm to D 9 mm. The open eye on an oblong pad lets lines and shock cord be hooked on and off quickly.

Product details
SS8032 is a pad eye with an open eye, made in AISI 304 stainless steel with a bright polished finish and sink (countersunk) holes. Four sizes are listed by D: 5, 6, 8 and 9 mm. A runs from 15 to 32 mm, B1 from 45 to 100 mm, B2 from 35.5 to 73 mm, H from 20 to 38 mm and S from 8 to 16 mm, with hole diameter d of 4.2, 5.2, 5.2 and 6.5 mm.
The oblong pad shown in the product photograph puts the fixing holes on the long axis, so the fitting suits narrow coamings, gunwales, rails and frames. Because the eye is open, covers, nets and shock-cord lacing can be hooked in and released without untying, which is why opening-type pad eyes are common on boat and trailer covers, canopies and equipment storage.
It shares its pad dimensions with the closed SS8030 eye plate. As an open fitting with no listed load rating, it is intended for light securing duties, not lifting or personal protection. Power Honour can supply the SS8032 under a private label or adapt it to a customer drawing.
