SS8030 304 Stainless Steel Eye Plate
The SS8030 is an eye plate in AISI 304 stainless steel with countersunk fixing holes, listed in four sizes from D 5 mm to D 9 mm. Its closed eye on an oblong pad gives a slim attachment point for snap hooks, shackles and lashings.

Product details
SS8030 is a closed eye plate made from AISI 304 stainless steel, with sink (countersunk) holes so the screws finish flush. Four sizes are listed by D: 5, 6, 8 and 9 mm. A runs from 15 to 32 mm, B1 from 45 to 100 mm, B2 from 35.5 to 73 mm, H from 20 to 38 mm, h from 12 to 26 mm and w from 14 to 22 mm, with hole diameter d of 4.2, 5.2, 5.2 and 6.5 mm.
The 9 mm size, with B1 of 100 mm, extends the range above the 8 mm maximum of the round-base eye plates. The product photograph shows the oblong pad, which keeps the fitting narrow for mounting along gunwales, coamings, masts and posts. Uses include fixing points for snap hooks and shackles, cover and net tie-downs, line leads and awning or shade-sail fixings at light loads.
The same pad is used on the opening-type SS8032 and the ring version SS8031. No load rating is listed, so the SS8030 should not be used for lifting or personal fall protection. Power Honour can supply it under a private label or to a customer drawing.
