SS8040 304 Stainless Steel Round Base Eye Plate

SS8040 is a fixed-eye plate with a round base, produced in AISI 304 stainless steel with a bright polished finish and sink (countersunk) holes. The three sizes, D 5, 6 and 8 mm, have A1 of 33, 40 and 50 mm, A2 of 19.5, 23.0 and 29.5 mm, H of 20, 26 and 32 mm, h of 12, 17 and 21 mm and W of 13, 17 and 20 mm. Hole diameter d is 4.2 mm on the two smaller sizes and 5.2 mm on the largest, and listed weights are 20, 35 and 70 g.

A round base has no corners to catch on ropes, sails or clothing, which makes it a tidy choice for decks, cockpits, interiors and outdoor furniture. Uses include tie-down points for covers and cargo nets, leads for light lines, and fixings for awnings and flags. The same base dimensions appear on the open-eye SS8042 and the ring version SS8041, so fittings can be mixed on one project.

No load rating is listed, so the eye plate is not intended as a lifting point or personal anchorage. Power Honour can supply the SS8040 under a private label or to a customer drawing.
