SS322 304 Stainless Steel Diamond Eye Plate

SS322 is a diamond-shaped eye plate in AISI 304 stainless steel, with sink (countersunk) holes so the screw heads finish flush with the plate. Three sizes are listed by D: 5, 6 and 8 mm. The drawing gives L (30, 35 and 45 mm), A (37 to 50 mm), B (59 to 80 mm), H (22 to 33 mm) and hole diameter d of 4.2 mm on the two smaller sizes and 5.2 mm on the largest. The product photograph shows a ring fitted to the plate, which distinguishes it from the SS323 with the same diamond base.

The diamond shape places the fixing holes on the long axis, keeping the plate narrow enough for coamings, masts, posts and frames. Typical uses include tying down boat covers and biminis, securing cargo and nets, running light lines and fixing awnings or shade sails at light loads.

Grade 304 suits sheltered marine and outdoor use. No load rating is listed, so the plate should not be used as a lifting or personal anchorage point. Power Honour can supply it under a private label or to a customer drawing.
