SS321 316 Stainless Steel Eye Plate

SS321 is a fixed-eye plate made from AISI 316 stainless steel, with sink (countersunk) holes for flush screw heads. Three sizes are listed by D: 5, 6 and 8 mm. A runs from 30 to 40 mm and B from 35 to 50 mm, with H of 19, 26 and 33 mm, h of 12, 17 and 22 mm, W of 14, 18 and 20 mm and hole diameter d of 4.2, 4.2 and 5.2 mm.

The photograph shows a square base with a fixing hole at each corner, the same footprint idea as the SS320 ring plate but with a fixed eye in place of the ring. A fixed eye suits a snap hook, shackle or lashing that stays connected, and is common for light block and sheet leads, cover tie-downs, fender lines and shade-sail or awning fixings. Grade 316 gives better resistance to salt-water pitting than 304.

No working load is listed, so the eye plate should not be relied on for lifting or personal fall protection. Power Honour can supply the SS321 under a private label or to a customer drawing.
