The 1300A delta ring is listed in two sizes. The 3 in ring has a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of 18000 lb and weighs 0.36 kg; the 4 in ring has an MBS of 20000 lb and weighs 0.62 kg. A welded delta ring is also available. Unlike most items in this range, the ring is rated by breaking strength rather than by working load limit, so the WLL must be derived using the design factor that applies to the buyer's application.
The triangular shape gives the ring a straight side that suits flat webbing as well as chain or rope connections, which is why delta rings are used in web sling assemblies, load-securing systems and rigging set-ups. In this catalogue the 1300A is offered as lifting and rigging hardware, not as fall protection equipment.
