Product details
The 1800A omega link is the fully tabulated member of the omega link family in this Grade 80 range. Its smallest size, 6-8, is rated at 1.20 ton and weighs only 0.13 kg. The 7/8-8 size carries 2.00 ton, 10-8 carries 3.20 ton, 13-8 carries 5.40 ton, and the largest 16-8 size is rated at 8.20 ton with a net weight of 1.13 kg. Minimum breaking load is four times the working load limit for each size.
The omega-shaped body and pin form a compact joint between chain and master links, hooks or other end fittings, which keeps sling assemblies short and light. Uses include chain sling make-up for construction, precast handling, steel stockholding and general overhead lifting. The 1800A is lifting hardware, not personal fall protection equipment.
In an RFQ, give the chain size and grade for each leg, the master link it must fit and any marking or traceability needs. The link can be produced as OEM or private label, or adapted to a drawing.
