2100A Grade 80 Clevis Choke Link

A clevis choke link attaches to chain with a clevis and pin and lets the chain pass through it, so a sling leg can be wrapped around a load and drawn tight in a choker hitch. The 2100A is part of the Grade 80 range and is specified with a minimum breaking load of four times its working load limit. Individual sizes, load ratings and weights are provided on request.

Choker hitches are used to lift bundles of bar, pipe, timber and similar loads that need to be gripped rather than simply hooked. Remember that a choker hitch reduces the rated capacity of a sling compared with a straight lift. The 2100A is lifting hardware, not fall protection equipment.

For a quotation, state the chain diameter and grade, the WLL needed and any marking requirements. The 2100A can be produced as OEM or private label, or made to a customer drawing.
