Two sizes are listed for the 1900A clevis link. The 7/8-8 size, for 7 or 8 mm Grade 8 chain, has a working load limit of 2.0 ton and weighs 0.220 kg. The 10-8 size is rated at 3.2 ton with a net weight of 0.427 kg. Both are specified with a minimum breaking load of four times the WLL.
Clevis links connect a chain directly to another fitting or to a second length of chain using a pin through the chain link, avoiding a separate connecting link. They are used in chain sling assembly, chain extensions and rigging arrangements for overhead lifting and material handling. The 1900A is lifting hardware, not fall-arrest equipment.
Before ordering, confirm the chain diameter and grade, the fitting it will join, and how the pin is retained. The 1900A can be supplied as OEM or private-label product or modified to a drawing, for example to suit a different pin or marking.
