2400A Grade 80 Chain Swivel
The 2400A (Art. No. 2400A) is a Grade 80 chain swivel that lets a chain or attached load rotate without twisting the assembly. Six sizes are listed from 1/4 in (WLL 850 lb) to 3/4 in (WLL 7200 lb).

A chain swivel allows rotation between two parts of a chain assembly so that the load can turn without kinking or twisting the chain. The 2400A is listed in inch sizes with working load limits in pounds and net weights in kilograms: 1/4 in at 850 lb and 0.13 kg, 5/16 in at 1250 lb, 3/8 in at 2500 lb, 1/2 in at 3600 lb, 5/8 in at 5200 lb and 3/4 in at 7200 lb and 3.09 kg. Minimum breaking load is four times the WLL.
Swivels of this kind appear in towing and pulling chains, rigging set-ups and material handling where rotation must be accommodated. Swivels are generally not designed to rotate under load, so buyers and users should confirm the intended duty. The 2400A is lifting and rigging hardware, not fall protection equipment.
In an RFQ, give the chain size, the WLL required and the end connection style. The swivel can be supplied as OEM or private label, or modified to a drawing.
