The 1200A is the forged counterpart to the welded 1100A D-ring in this Grade 80 range. Four sizes are listed under the designations 2.5, 4.0, 6.5 and 8.0, with net weights of 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 1.0 kg respectively. The minimum breaking load is four times the working load limit; working load limits for the individual sizes should be confirmed against the current drawing before ordering.
D-rings are used as connection and attachment points in lifting and rigging assemblies, for example on lifting beams, frames, containers or load-securing arrangements, where the straight side of the ring gives a defined bearing for a connector or strap.
