B275WR Aluminium Wire-Gate Carabiner

B275WR combines the 100 x 56 mm B27 frame, formed from 9 mm aluminium alloy bar, with a wire gate. The listed breaking strength is 22 kN, the gate opens to 27 mm and the weight is 35 g, making it the lightest model in the family and the one with the widest opening.

Wire gates weigh less than solid gates and have lower gate mass, which reduces gate flutter when the carabiner is knocked or shock-loaded. They are also less inclined to freeze in wet, cold conditions. With a 27 mm opening, B275WR is quick to clip, which suits the rope end of a quickdraw, alpine draws and racking.

Within the B27 family, B274K is pictured with a straight gate for the bolt end, B276K with a bent gate, and B271K provides a locking option. B275WR is non-locking and not intended for belaying. In an RFQ, state the certification required, the quickdraw sling or assembly and the colour and marking. B275WR can be supplied as listed, rebranded for a private-label range or modified to your drawing.
