A718KSG is a large aluminium alloy screw-gate carabiner with a key-lock nose and a 31 mm gate opening, the widest in this range. Rated at 22 kN major axis and 8 kN minor axis and gate open, it is used where thick ropes, several slings or large anchor points must be clipped.

Product details
A718KSG is built around access: its gate opens to 31 mm, the widest opening in this carabiner range. The aluminium alloy frame weighs 100 g and carries listed strengths of 22 kN major axis, 8 kN minor axis and 8 kN gate open.
The product photo shows a large pear-shaped body. That geometry, combined with the wide opening, makes it easy to clip thick ropes, structural anchors, multiple slings or gloved-hand connections. Typical applications include anchor master points, rescue and rope-work set-ups, belay stations and rigging where several items must share one connector. The manual screw sleeve lets the user lock the gate deliberately, and the key-lock nose avoids snagging.
