A2550SG is an aluminium alloy screw-gate carabiner rated at 25 kN along the major axis and 7 kN across the minor axis and with the gate open. It is a 70 g manual-locking connector with a 19 mm gate opening for anchors, belays and equipment attachment.

Product details
A2550SG is an aluminium alloy carabiner with a threaded locking sleeve. It weighs 70 g, its gate opens to 19 mm and the rated strengths are 25 kN major axis, 7 kN minor axis and 7 kN gate open.
The dimension drawing shows a D-shaped frame, a shape that keeps the load close to the spine where the carabiner is strongest. A screw gate is locked manually, so it is chosen where the user wants to check and secure the gate deliberately, for example at belay stations, anchors and fixed equipment attachment points.
A2550SG belongs to a family with the non-locking A2550KNS and the twist-lock A2550TL; note that the locking models list 7 kN for the minor axis and gate open, against 9 kN for the straight-gate version. In an RFQ, state the standard the part must be certified to, sleeve and body colour and marking. A2550SG can be produced under your own brand, and Power Honour can quote changes to the frame or sleeve from a supplied drawing.
