A712QD Aluminium Quickdraw with Nylon Sling

The A712QD assembles a complete quickdraw from the A712 series: one wire bent-gate carabiner (A712-d), one bent-gate carabiner (A712-b) and a nylon sling. The carabiners are aluminium alloy with a listed breaking strength of 23 kN, and the webbing is rated at 22 kN. Three sling lengths are available: 11, 17 and 25 cm.

The short 11 cm draw suits steep sport routes where clipping speed matters, while the 17 and 25 cm versions help reduce rope drag on wandering routes and in trad climbing. Offering three lengths under one model lets a brand cover these uses with a single specification.
