Product details
At 70 g, the AD241 is noticeably lighter than the 103 g AD243 while keeping the same 10 mm section thickness. It is made of aluminium alloy and the listed breaking strength is 20 kN.
Lightweight D-rings of this kind are used as side attachment points on work positioning belts, as front or rear points on lighter harness designs, and on rescue or rope access equipment where total kit weight is a concern. Weight saving on hardware adds up across a harness that may carry several D-rings and buckles.
Because length, width and finish are not listed for the AD241, buyers should ask for a drawing and specify the webbing width, surface treatment and colour, and any marking with their enquiry. The rating of the finished harness depends on the whole assembly, so sample testing in the actual design is recommended. Power Honour can manufacture the AD241 for OEM and private-label programmes and can modify it to a drawing.
