AD-243 Forged Aluminium D-Ring, 22 kN

The AD-243 is the forged version of the AD243 D-ring: aluminium alloy, forged, anodised as standard, 98 g, with a minimum breaking strength of 22 kN.

Forged aluminium D-rings are a common choice for the dorsal attachment of fall arrest harnesses and the side rings of positioning belts in products where weight is a selling point, for example harnesses for rope access, wind turbine and tower work, or utility crews. The forging process produces a dense part with grain flow following the ring shape, which helps consistency from batch to batch.

Buyers should request a drawing with dimensions and confirm the webbing width, anodising colour and marking at quotation stage. As with any harness component, the strength of the complete harness assembly must be proven by testing the finished product to the standard required in the target market. For brand owners, the AD-243 can be supplied as OEM or private-label hardware, with changes to a drawing discussed at quotation stage.
