AR022-2 Aluminium Double Back Buckle

Listed in the same series as the AR022-1, the AR022-2 is an aluminium alloy double back buckle, 3 mm thick. In the product photo it appears as a square frame with a black finish, while its partner has an additional slot, so the two can be specified together where a design needs both shapes.

Aluminium double back hardware keeps a harness light, which is valued in climbing, rope access, arborist and rescue products, and the 3 mm section gives a slim profile under clothing or a padded belt. As with any double back system, the user instructions must show the correct threading and the strap tail length.

No breaking strength or outside dimensions are published for this part, so request a drawing and define the rating your product needs, then verify it by testing the complete harness. In the RFQ, specify webbing width and thickness, anodising colour and marking, and whether the AR022-1 is required as well.
