CX-02 Galvanised Steel Quick Buckle, 18 kN

CX-02 is made from galvanised steel, 3 mm thick, and rated at 18 kN breaking strength. The product photo shows a rectangular frame with a bright galvanised surface.

Galvanising puts a zinc layer on the steel, giving corrosion protection suited to outdoor construction and industrial use, where harness hardware is exposed to rain and site dirt. A steel frame of this kind is commonly used as one part of a two-piece quick buckle on harness leg and chest straps, so that the user can fasten the harness without rethreading the webbing. The CX-01, a steel quick buckle with the same rating and thickness, is listed alongside it.

Buyers should confirm the matching part and the webbing width and thickness, and verify the strength of the complete buckle and webbing combination in their harness design. Request a drawing for dimensions, and state finish and marking in the RFQ.
