221 Forged Alloy Steel Tongue Buckle, 2 in

Model 221 is the single-tongue partner to the twin tongue 222. It is forged from alloy steel, heat treated, sized for 2 in webbing and rated at a minimum breaking load of 4000 lbs (17.8 kN).

A tongue buckle gives a positive, visible closure: the tongue drops into a grommet in the strap, and the user can check engagement by eye. That is why tongue buckles are widely used on harness leg straps, chest straps and body or tool belts in construction, utility and industrial work. A single tongue keeps the buckle compact and slightly lighter than a twin tongue design, while the forged and heat-treated frame provides the strength.

When requesting a quotation, state the webbing width and thickness, the grommet size and pitch, the finish and any marking, and confirm the strength requirement of the harness standard the product must meet.
