224SS Stainless Steel 304 Double Slot Buckle

224SS is a two-slot buckle in 304 stainless steel, offered in a 3 mm or 4 mm thickness. The photo shows a rounded plate with two parallel slots in a bright stainless finish.

Stainless double slot buckles are specified for harnesses, positioning belts, rescue equipment and straps that must stay free of rust, for example on ships and offshore platforms, in water treatment and food processing, or for outdoor equipment stored wet. Grade 304 needs no plating, so there is no coating to chip or wear through where the webbing runs. Pairing it with the 503SS stainless quick buckle can keep a complete strap system in one material, subject to confirming fit with samples.

No breaking strength is published for the 224SS, so buyers should state the strength their product requires and test the buckle with the intended webbing and threading.
