Product details

The 223 is a forged sliding buckle in heat-treated alloy steel, rated at a minimum breaking load of 5000 lbs (22.2 kN). The product photo shows a frame divided by a centre bar into two openings.

In a sliding buckle the webbing is woven around the centre bar so that it can be pulled through to adjust length, then locks by friction when loaded. Forged construction gives the 223 a higher rating than the stamped sliding adjusters 201 and 202, at 5000 lbs against 4000 lbs, which suits it to load-bearing adjustment points on full body harnesses, positioning belts and rescue equipment.

Specify webbing width and thickness, finish and marking in the RFQ, and test the buckle with the actual webbing, since holding performance depends on the strap. The drawing gives full dimensions. If the 223 needs to change, send a drawing; Power Honour can supply it under OEM or private label.
